CYCLING ALONG BOTH SIDES OF THE EBRO
A relaxed, flat cycling route exploring both sides of the Ebro between Tortosa and Amposta.
This circular route connects Tortosa and Amposta along cycling routes on both sides of the River Ebro, offering a flat and enjoyable ride ideal for discovering the landscape at a relaxed pace.
We will leave Tortosa along the Val de Safan Greenway towards Amposta, cycling through farmland and the open landscapes of the Ebro Valley. Once in Amposta, we will cross the river and begin the return journey along the Carrilet, following the opposite side of the Ebro back to Tortosa.
Throughout the route, the river is the main feature of the landscape, accompanied by farmland, riverside vegetation and wide views across the plain.
At approximately 33 km with very little elevation gain, this is an easy-going cycling route, particularly suitable for families and anyone wishing to enjoy the landscape at a leisurely pace.

This urban circuit, approximately three kilometres long, allows visitors to explore on foot some of the main elements of the walled complex of Tortosa.
