ROUTE OF THE THREE CULTURES

We leave the Slaughterhouse and head towards Travessia del Mur. At the top of Carrer del Portal de Remolins, you can see the remains of the wall on the pavement that used to join the now-destroyed Vimpeçol Tower with the Cèlio Tower, with Tenasses fort at the top. We continue to Plaça de Menahem Ben Saruq and Travessia de Vandellòs, along the Muralla de Remolins and the Portal dels Jueus [Jews' Gate].



From here we go towards Carrer de la Figuereta and the square of the same name with its traditional well, Carrer de Jaume Tió and Plaça de la Immaculada. We continue by climbing up to the Castle, General Ortega postern (in front of the Prince’s Gardens), Bassa Gate and reaching the Avançades de Sant Joan fortress.



We go down past Sant Josep de la Muntanya, Rastre Gate and the walls and aqueduct. We immediately go down Barranc del Rastre and take the following route: Bonet Fort and Walls, Carrer de les Esplanetes, Victory Bastion and Tarragona Gate, Verge de la Cinta Hospital, Fort de les Creus, Pujada de l’Hospital Verge de la Cinta, Carmen Bastion, Pujada Simpàtica, Camí de Nivera, Camí d’Orleans, Orleans Fort, Diocesan Seminary, Pujada al Seminari, the train station, Ronda dels Docs, Carrer de Rosselló, Passeig de la Ribera, Avinguda de Lleida and Rambla de Felip Pedrell, before reaching the Slaughterhouse again.
