Experience a challenging 170 km route with stunning views, diverse landscapes, and a mix of ascents and descents, perfect for adventurous tourists.

Round trip to Els Ports

Round trip to Els Ports. More than 170 km and 2800 meters of positive height difference. The former Tortosa slaughterhouse is the starting and end point of the route.
A tough tour for both sides of the Ports massif. You will enjoy stunning views and landscapes. Leave Tortosa heading for the pont del Bimil·lenari (Bimillennial Bridge). Cross and go straight to the Raval de Crist. Take the road to Mas de Barberans and La Sénia.

From here, go to the Ulldecona swamp and Fredes. These first 60 km go uphill. From Fredes head for el Boixar and Castell de Cabres. This road is a succession of ascents and descents for 30 km until you reach the highest point of the route. Turn right to go to Herbés, Peñarroya de Tastavins, Fuentespalda and Valderrobles. These 40 km are mostly downhill with some steeper sections.

From Valderrobles take the road to Arnes, Horta de Sant Joan, Prat de Comte and Xerta. This section is quite flat. Once you get past Horta de Sant Joan there is an uphill distance of 1km. The last section of road goes downhill. Continue on the C-12 road to Tortosa, pass through Aldover and Jesús.
